When searching for plantation shutters, I obtained 2 quotes. Charles Mullins from Acadia Shutters provided the most thorough measurements (3 per window) of our windows in our 22 year old home, whereas the more expensive competition only used one measurement per window! Charles was thorough, informative, and professional! I went with 3 1/2” wooden louvres with a hidden split tilt bar to provide an updated and clean look to our home. Whereas the competition was hesitant to even quote me the cost for wooden shutters due to how expensive they would be, Charles/Acadia Shutters quoted me for wooden shutters for my entire downstairs PLUS master bedroom (not part of competition quote) for LESS than the competitor’s non-wooden quote! Michael, our installer, was very professional, courteous, quick, and thorough! He took down all of the old blinds and very neatly stacked them on a table in the garage. The blinds look amazing!! The look of our home has been totally transformed and updated! We will definitely use Acadia Shutters again when ready to complete the rest of the upstairs windows!
