We contacted Acadia Shutters and Blinds to install some plantation shutters on our top floor. Matthew Barnette came out to give us a quote. We mentioned to him that we were also considering doing our bottom floor windows, as well, but we weren’t sure. He took measurements for both top and lower floors, and was very meticulous in matching the paint color (he didn’t just assume all rooms were the same color white–and turns out, they weren’t). He showed us all the options available to us and made recommendations as to what styles would best fit our home and space. I got a couple more quotes from different companies, and Acadia was the best deal, by far. Plus, Matthew was the only one who made sure the paint colors were the same. We ended up getting our shutters from Acadia, and they were installed more quickly than promised, expertly and professionally. Then Matthew followed up to ensure we were happy with our investment. We are beyond pleased with the service, price, and experience and will definitely use Acadia again.
Fantastic service, quality, warranty and pricing. We worked with Matthew Barnette and would work with him again without hesitation. We insisted the color of our plantation shutters should be one color based on what we had recently contracted to paint our trim; however, he (very professionally) told us he disagreed. It turns out, he was right; our painters had used a different shade of white than we had requested. After we worked through that painting headache, he came back to re-match the colors and ensure we received the right shutter colors to match our trim. They now match beautifully.

He even gave me some really good recommendations that I’m so glad I listened to. He was able to give me a quote right there for multiple options and WOW I was SO excited for the price! Not only were we getting the best product on the market, we would be paying much less than I had anticipated. Five weeks later, Ben arrived and installed the most beautiful shutters in my home!
